This marketing leaflet demonstrates the breadth and sheer quantity of cultural activities undertaken by Ben Uri during the 1960s under Secretary Barry Fealdman, including music, poetry, drama and art classes. Ben Uri also hosted an active artists’ Studio Group which regularly met at the gallery. One of the masterpieces in Ben Uri’s collection, Mark Gertler’s savage anti war painting Merry-Go-Round (1916) features prominently in the leaflet.
